Grissom Air Reserve Base: Located in the northern part of the state, near Peru, Indiana, it is one of only five Air Force Reserve Command bases in the nation. Its host wing is the 434th Air Refueling Wing (434 ARW), one of the key air refueling units in the Air Force Reserve Command.
