Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL): This is a tri-service joint base and one of only twelve Department of Defense (DoD) joint bases. It consolidated the former Naval Air Engineering Station Lakehurst, Fort Dix, and McGuire Air Force Base. The base supports more than 88 mission partners and 45,000 Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, civilians, and their family members.
